Why use a sauna hat?
A sauna hat is a traditional Finnish sauna accessory. It does not make you hotter – instead, it helps balance temperature.
In the heat, it protects your head from overheating, allowing you to stay in the sauna longer and more comfortably.
In colder environments, such as outdoor hot tubs or cold-water swimming, it helps keep your head and neck warm.

Colours
Grey shades are made from undyed sheep wool. The melange effect is created by blending natural white and black wool, giving the colour a warm, slightly brown tone.
Other colours are made from dyed wool. Small variations in shade may occur between production batches.

Our sauna hats are made in our own factory in Jämsä, Finland, where felt products have been crafted since 1927.
Each hat is shaped by hand using traditional, time-intensive techniques, with the wool carefully felted, shaped and finished through multiple stages. Small individual variations are part of the character of genuine craftsmanship.
